Salvation should be held on to tightly; it must be worked out with fear and trembling. Its not something to joke around with, it is so valuable that the enemy will help you loose it at the least opportunity. Philippians 2:12-13 “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed–not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence–continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”
As children of God, one thing we must know is that we are on a battle field and the opponent is just as determined as we are to win the battle but the good news for us is that this battle has been won already and we just need to believe it and remind the enemy of his defeat anytime he confronts us.
Satan which means adversary or accuser has one main goal and that is to oppose the plan and purpose of God! After he was cast down from heaven, the word of God explicitly said in Revelation 12:10 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” This is no good news to the inhabitants of the earth for the verse 12 shows why its not joyous “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
The enemy knows he has already failed and his only plan is to destroy God’s work! He is around us whispering and telling us things to dissuade us; not only does he go before God to accuse us but he uses our fellow brethren to do so! One of his greatest weapon is the weapon of accusation and condemnation!
One thing worthy of note is that the enemy is always around! Job 1:6-7 “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it”
The word also admonishes us to be watchful because our adversary the devil is lurking around looking for someone to pounce on! 1 Peter 5:8 “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.”
Now the devil accused Job who was described as a perfect and upright man! Job 1:6-11, Job 2:1-6, In our Christian walk, we will be faced with oppositions in the form of accusations! Do not be surprised, just tell the enemy to his face where he belongs and where you belong.
Sometimes, the enemy will remind you of your past and try to condemn you to your face! Child of God, do not be ignorant of the word; Romans 8:1-2 ” There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Tell him what the word says about you! People will try to identify you in their own way; call you names and tell you where you should be; 
If i am an orphan and i have been adopted by a king legitimately, do i remain an orphan? Certainly not! I am now a princess because it doesn’t matter where i came from or who i was, what matters is where i am and i who i am! 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 “So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” Ayayaya…allow me pour the fire out! My God..!
Do not allow the enemy to deceive you. Read this brethren: IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE, YOU ARE VULNERABLE TO THE DEVIL TELLING YOU WHO YOU ARE, IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE YOU BELONG, THE DEVIL WILL PUSH YOU TO THE WRONG PLACE!
What does the word of God say about you? You are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation, an holy nation, peculiar people, you are loved and accepted, a son of God for as many as believed in Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of GOD!
Anytime the enemy comes accusing you again, let him know you are a prince/princess; a child of the King, a citizen of the kingdom of light, a joint heir with Christ seated with Him in heavenly places, a partaker of the divine blessings of God, a shareholder of the kingdom riches..my God! Tell him you know who you are like am singing right now:
“We are a chosen generation
Called forth to show His excellence
All I require for life, God has given me
And I know who I am
I know who God says I am
What He says I am
Where He says I’m at
I know who I am
I’m walking in power,
I’m walking miracles
I live a life of favor,
‘Cause I know who I am…….
Come on, tell it to the devil, shout it to him, sing it to him….I KNOW WHO I AM! Blessings!
